چکیده
Background: After tooth extraction, alveolar bone resorption occurs naturally, followed by remodeling. Alveolar formation is characterized an increase in density and expansion of the trabecular bone. Socket preservation using a combination Moringa oleifera leaf extract demineralized freeze-dried bovine xenograft (DFDBBX) expected to area trabeculae thus accelerate process formation. Purpose: This study aimed determine if DFDBBX could extraction sockets. Methods: With their lower left incisors extracted, 56 Cavia cobayas were divided into eight treatment groups according material given: polyethylene glycol (PEG), PEG, extract, DFDBBX, PEG. On seventh thirtieth days, sacrificed examined. Histopathological samples stained with Hematoxylin-Eosin (HE) evaluate trabecula area, data analyzed one-way ANOVA Tukey HSD. Results: day, group that received had greatest trabeculae. Conclusion: A induced socket can

Background and Aims: Reconstruction of osseous defects is one of the ideal goals of periodontal treatments and dental implant therapy. Different biomaterials have been used for this purpose and many studies have tried to compare and introduce the best ones. The present study aimed to evaluate the effect of PDFDB (Partially Demineralized Freeze-Dried Bone Graft) and FDBA (Freeze Dried Bone Allog...

متن کاملDemineralized Freeze-Dried Bovine Cortical Bone: Its Potential for Guided Bone Regeneration Membrane
BACKGROUND Bovine pericardium collagen membrane (BPCM) had been widely used in guided bone regeneration (GBR) whose manufacturing process usually required chemical cross-linking to prolong its biodegradation. However, cross-linking of collagen fibrils was associated with poorer tissue integration and delayed vascular invasion. OBJECTIVE This study evaluated the potential of bovine cortical bo...

BACKGROUND The incidence of lung cancer is expected to increase due to increases in exposure to airborne pollutants and cigarette smoke. Moringa oleifera (MO), a medicinal plant found mainly in Asia and South Africa is used in the traditional treatment of various ailments including cancer. This study investigated the antiproliferative effect of MO leaf extract (MOE) in cancerous A549 lung cells...
